Statement
Of Belief
We acknowledge that our God and Lord who is, The Father, The Son Jesus Christ and
Holy Spirit are One.
We believe that God Has Made us into His Image and Likeness and affirms us with dignity, worth and enabled us to respond
to Him.
We
believe that His Divine Purpose in redeeming us unto Himself is to fulfill His Eternal Plan of Salvation; Sanctification;
Justification and; Righteousness. And henceforth, establish His Eternal Kingdom.
We believe that God showed us His Love in
that whilst we became corrupted in sin and were unable to redeem ourselves; and thus became subject to His Wrath, Condemnation
and eternal separation; He Offered Up His Only Son Jesus Christ as the Substitute Sin Sacrifice - so that whoever calls upon
the Name of Jesus Christ will be saved and reconciled to God.
We confess that Jesus Christ as Lord and God, in His Redemptive Work, dwelt among
men through being born of the virgin Mary. And being both God and Man satisfied every Holy requirement to fulfill the only
sacrifice acceptable to God when He died on The Cross and was buried. After 3 days and nights, He Arose from Death and was
Given a Name above all others. He is Seated at The Right Hand of The Father and Has been Given Every Authority Over All Creation.
He Will Come again in Glory and All Power And Righteousness to Judge Creation and Establish His Kingdom forever.
We believe The Holy Spirit
is Present on the earth and in every person who puts their trust in The Lord Jesus Christ. His Presence convicts us of sin
and makes the death and resurrection of Christ effective to sinners, and that through repentance and trust in The Lord Jesus
Christ, we become born again - to partake in the Life of The Risen Christ. The Spirit's indwelling presence illuminates
the mind of the regenerated person to grasp Scripture, produce Fruits and; Grant Gifts and Empowerment to Witness in the world.
The Word of God - The Bible
We believe that the Old and New Testament
Scriptures are God-breathed and therefore useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that
the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:16-17.
The Church and Mission
We recognise the Church as the Body of Christ,
held together by and growing in Him; both as a global fellowship and as the local congregation in which believers gather. We acknowledge the commission of Christ to
proclaim the Good News of Salvation to all people, making them His disciples and teaching them to obey Him.
We acknowledge the command of Christ to love
our neighbours, resulting in service to the Church and society; in seeking reconciliation for all with God and their fellows;
in proclaiming liberty from every kind of oppression; and in spreading Christ's justice in an unjust world UNTIL HE COMES
AGAIN.
